The FSID includes mandatory improvement works affecting the existing Fire Services Installation (FSI) such as the emergency lighting system, sprinkler system and Ventilation & Air Conditioning (VAC) at the Grandstand I and Grandstand II. Extensive site survey had to be carried-out to examine the existing FSI, and the result of the site survey was used as a basis of the rectification proposals. 

System interruption will only be available on limited basis during on-season and proper housekeeping needs to be enforced during the operation of the racecourse.
