HSBC Building Mong Kok

Jan - Jun 2015

HSBC Building is a 16-storey commercial building comprising bank vaults, banking hall, open plan office and dining space. The existing air-conditioning system prior to the renovation works consisted of 3 numbers of air-cooled chillers and 4 numbers of chilled water pumps.

In a bid to increase the chiller plant efficiency and capacity at a reasonable payback period, BYME was tasked to replace the existing chillers and chilled water pumps with brand new, high efficiency units.

The oil-free chillers and chilled water pumps were successfully commissioned to meet the current building cooling demand and to reduce the energy usage.

Well-planned logistic for delivery of chiller at Nathan Road – most busy traffic trunk line in Kowloon is the key to the success of this project.
