This is a renovation project with an area 167m2. Centre divided into Small Theatre, Seating Zone, Submersive Space, I&T Zone.
Existing of Central Library to be renovated to an innovative learning resources center. This center is open to public and located at G/F EMSD Headquarters.
The new automation technology applications and energy saving will apply to the Centre.
Algae Wall, 8 sets of interactive projectors, Comprised with Computerize Lighting Control System, 9 x 55” LCD Media Wall, RGB Media Mesh, LED lights connected to DMX / DALI control, Wireless light sensor, motion sensor are setups with Automatic Windows Blinds. More than 3 lighting mode to provides difference scene. 2 set High Volume Low Speed Fan (HVLS) size over 2-meter diameter is installed for air ventilation. DC Power, DC Application e.g. DC Motor type Fan Coil, DC power supply for Light Fitting and AV Equipment. Energy Saving by using DC power supply instead of AC.
This project will be using Common Data Environment (CDE) system for Project Management Applications, by using CDE to provide single source information used to collect data, manage project progress and disseminate documentations.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment, MEP and Architecture coordination will more accurate and reduce to system crash and redundant works.
