BYME is delighted to share that we have recently started the E&M works at MTR Kwu Tung Station.
Situated between Lok Ma Chau and Sheung Shui Stations, the new station will be in the town centre of the future Kwu Tung North New Development Area and serve as a public transport hub for the area. In September 2023, our parent company, Dragages Hong Kong, has been awarded the Design and Build Contract in which we will be responsible for the design and construction of the building services.
“We are excited to take part in this project, helping to expand the MTR network. Given that Kwu Tung Station will be the 100th heavy railway station and the first of Hong Kong’s stations to be built on top of an operating railway tunnel, we will work closely with Dragages and other partners in dealing with the associated challenges.” Ho Po Cheong, Senior Project Manager of BYME expressed.
