The project comprises of refurbishment and expansion work for the HKUST (Building) level 7 .This floor will be used as an Animal Care Facility (ACF) which will have the following areas:

• Offices area
• A security barrier: Perimeter of the ACF
• A procedural barrier: Changing room, laundry and Material lock
• A Biosecurity barrier: Designated room and support.
• Within the biosecurity barrier:

1. Biocontainment category 2 laboratory (CL2) barrier facility
2. Surgery area
3. Holding rooms
4. Cagewash area and stores
5. Culling and Necropsy
6. Circulation

Supply, installation all full package Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) services for providing stringent environmental condition of animal laboratory.
