BYME was engaged to be the E&M systems provider of this renovation works.
Within the scope of works, BYME was tasked to provide the complete E&M services for the 1.1 km of funicular tunnel and auxiliary works in 2 Terminus.
Notable challenge to this project, a 6 km long of 300mm diameter pipe was installed and commissioned for the marine life supporting system – round the clock
Zero tolerance to minimize the interruption to the life support system serving the marine life in the aquarium.

Design, supply, installation and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of all Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) services for the funicular tunnel and miscellaneous works at Waterfront Terminus and Summit Terminus:
- Tunnel Smoke Extraction system
- Pressurized walkway system along the Tunnel
- Linear Heat Fire Detection System
- Fire Fighting System
- Central Control and Monitoring System
- Tunnel Intercom System
- Tunnel Portable Radio System
- Design and Build of all other ELV Systems
