Renovation of Former Central Government Offices

The Government Office building was built during the 1950s in Central, Hong Kong S.A.R., to house a variety of Government Departments. The building has been categorized as a historical building by the Hong Kong Government. As part of the ongoing revitalization to maintain the heritage of architectural, contextual and historical significance to the building, ArchSD launched the project to refurbish the entire facility.

The refurbishment scope of works include the existing 14-storeys west wing office building of the former Central Government Office complex for the Department of Justice and law-related organizations. The construction floor area covers approximately 28,502m2 and the actual site area is approximately 7,450m2.
